    Default Large dead Moth

    Found this trapped behind the blind on a velux window, it's about an inch long, with a two inch wingspan. Looks like a type of Hawk Moth.

    Not sure Chocky, all of my books are at home, so guessed at hawk moth, but there are of course several types.

    It looks like a Popular Hawk moth. I could be wrong
