    Default Small fly thingie

    No idea what this is... too many flying things to work it out. The second shot shows the tip of my thumb to show the size... it's not very big

    That's the problem Beryl - there seem to be almost as many types as there are individuals, and even if you do narrow it down sometimes they are so similar it takes an expert or very close inspection of the actual creature to be able to tell

    Yes Rolf, it's only since I've been trying to catch insects for this website that I've realised how beautiful the small things are - you normally just ignore them as they flit about and never take a close look. It's been lovely
