    these wigeons flocked by the hundreds to the Exe estuary. They came very close ti shore today to my surprise, They usually stay well out. Then one pair winged away

    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    Default wigeons.

    a truely underated duck . they are stunningly marked when you view them up close. there are allsorts of subtleties to their markings. nice bird.
