    I think this is probably a Kestrel . It did hover but not as grecafully as I have seen in the past.
    so I'm not sure

    The tail looks like it .The Kes has broad bands on it's tail,. .....but well maybe some one else may rcognise it

    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28
