stunning shot babs, do you not get the female coming aswell?. if you see a bullfinch, odds on the female will be close by. they constantly keep in contact with each other with their nasal call.
my auntie still has a bullfinch ornament on her sideboard which i can remember as a small boy, some forty odd years ago. so i've always liked them.

Thanks andy, yes actually the female appeared first but she was not as brave as the male and didn't come in as close, I do have some pics of her but not as good as the male ones
