    I like the Collared Dove, a bird which always appears to have a timid look about it......scared even.

    Yes. They are timid along the estuary. Bolder int he towns little garden park though .

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Nice capture Beryl, word has got around my area about my sunflower hearts and they all queue up to eat them from the feeder. The most I have had on my feeders at any one time is eight (which is most days), there is just one who will stay and watch while I fill the feeders.
