News from the RSPB site
Visitors to the RSPB's Raptors on the Rock project at Symonds Yat in Gloucestershire have been treated to a day's bird of prey watching unprecedented in the UK.

Have been to Symonds Yat - very like the area of gorges on the Clyde near Lanark, and supporting the same wildlife and BOPs.
I wonder if the Black Kite will stay in that area this summer, or if it will return to France?
Is that too far away for a day trip from Reading, Rolf?
Must check if the bird stays there....
No, only a couple of hours or so Catherine, may well try and get over there later in the year.
It's maybe only there to tease you though. I mean, you go to France, so it comes here! When you return, it will probably do so too!
Hope not though!
Worth a visit there in any event Catherine, I've never seen a Kite in France anyway, so not missed it.
