She has a laptop but its not connected to the internet.Gonna have to get the Ram increased.Light room slows it down too much at present and its lightroom she is learning.I did connect it to the internet to update windows.It had never been connected before......178 updates,it took me all day.
Just upgraded my RAM in the old laptop, for the same reason, doubled it to half a gig and now Photoshop works at a reasonable speed, as does Olympus Master.
Pain those updates.

Is that for laptop memory Chocky? It needs to be SO-DIMM, which is a more compact DIMM (Small Outline - Dual Inline Memory Module) and normally more expensive.
I will let you know when I have had a look around Chocky.Normally I would buy on line but there is no way I am going inside a Laptop
Adding RAM on laptops is normally very easy, simply unscrewing a small panel on the bottom, took a couple of minutes on mine.
