    Nikon D300,nikon 70-200 +1.7 converter. Nikon 105 mm Macro with VR Sigma 300 with X2 converter Nikon P5000 with fieldscope and Binos Nikon D7000 Nikon 17-55 mm F2.8

    Default Can't ID this one from my books.

    Taken on Tuesday at Maiden Erleigh. It was on a branch in the reed bed.

    Strange one Joe, thought perhaps a young Brambling, but on looking closer could be a young House Sparrow.

    The nearest I could get was an immature (autumn) but the stripe by the eye is too strong, the stripe would suggest a female but no pale ring around the neck. I'll settle for young one though.
