He really was having a wash and brush up What a lovely piece of film. I only have vid on my camera and it doesn't do very close up and you can't alter focus when filming... so I'm jealous - I wanted to get the busy bees !

Thank you.Bought the video camera about 2 years ago, they were selling them off for 130 quid, so decided to take the plunge. Since I joined the site and you all got me interested in Nature photography, everything gets pressed into use.

Mine is a jvc.The price sort of made it an impulse buy.If I had been looking for a video camera it would have been between Canon and Panasonic

If your stills are on tape Chocky it can be done but the quality is so low its not really worth the effort.

I use a fire wire for my camcorder but I don't both with the stills because they still play so to speak and I haven't rally looked into making a Jpeg with a snapshot yet.
I figured the quality wouldn't be up to much.

Not very. I don't mean a frame from a video It actually takes snap shot stills but even though they are still it says they are playing. But like you say they probably wouldn't be much good

Oh. I didn't think of that as when i click on them they come up in Media player and although they are stills they play but don't move .Lol

I'll have a go at that. will have to search them out or may be just take some next time I'm out.
    Thanks for that
