The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

Nice one Babs, is that a hollowed out stump you put up, or is it part of a tree?

Thanks rolf, it's a hollowed out stump and it's been a very successful one too and placed right in front of the hide it has a little stump coming from the side of it and that too is hollowed out it doesn't hold much seed but the birds like it. The Dunnock flicks everything out of it to find what it wants. I also have half a a coconut shell on a stick filled with seed this works very well too.

Must try that, the only problem i have is the squirrels clean out anything that is too accessible.

Perfect set up - the hide and the cunningly placed hollowed out stump - which goes to produce the excellent photography you share with us including this stunning image of the Dunnock......keep 'em cumin Babs.
