I think a little older than a Teneral. I think the legs are bi-coloured on a Teneral but am not sure with the Darters I know with Hawker the Tenerals have bi-coloured legs and are lass intensive.
Here it is mating. The light may have changed slightly as the sun kept turning on and off.

The reason I asked was that you described the S.Hawker the other day as being a Teneral rather than juvenile. I didn't think that they would have been flying about as much as you described if still hardening off, so if you say that one was a teneral I wondered if this one was as well. I haven't seen them in real life so only know what I've read.
He had probably just emerged form a pond in a back garden . Juvenile dragonfly are nymphs. Once out of the water it sheds its skin and yes become a young Dragonfly technically a Teneral has to find a tree twig or similar to hang out on to dry. but soon become adult.
I only know what I read and I know couple of experts
