    Great comment too, Eddy - perhaps that's the root of the problem. They must know their own clubs have massive debts because of them.

    Do you think it's time we got together and had a UK national team now? After all, it might help mend splits caused in other ways, and we need to have a GB team for the Olympics?

    (BTW, in case anyone here doesn't know, I'm proud to be British, but lucky to be Scottish!)

    LOL, Eddy - good point, although the difference is that I bet the beer gave more satisfaction

    A 'united' team, Catherine? I have no problems with it ( I suppose that it's because of my mixed heritage) but I bet a lot of the Scots wouldn't be too happy. Something does need to be done though - how can so many supposed top players (who earn a blinkin' fortune!!) give almost consistently bad performances? This time there weren't even some nice individual performances to point to.
