    Cannon 350D 300M 2.8 lens 80-200 2.8 zoom 20-37 2.8 lens.

    Default Canon Lenses problem.

I have heard that if you have a Canon lens from the film era, it will not work properly with a digital camera. Can anybody throw some light on this please ?

Olympus Evolt E520, and borrowed lenses and flash. Fuji Finepix S7000 for Macro A chair :)

From what I recall (I'm not a Canon-user), it's not quite as simple as that, I think that some work ok and some not as well (due to sensor size - digital is smaller than film I think). They will work, but maybe not at 100%... but as I said, I've not really paid much attention as I'm an Olympus user.

Yes, I think they work to a degree, but are not a perfect match.

Thanks for your help. I think I will go and see if there is a Canon forum to really get the low down.

That sounds like a good idea - let us know what the outcome is, it's always interesting to know.
