He sat on the roof of the house down the road and opposite for ages. With I had a better camera and tripod - but loved his different attitudes and poses as he scoured the area for dinner!

Thanks, folks!He was sitting on a rooftop across the road and down a bit - in fact on a house round the corner from me.
I stood against the house here as I wasn't keen on going too near in case he flew away.
However, although he seemed to have spotted me (in one shot at least) he didn't fly away - as hunger was obviously more important than any thereat he thought I might have been!
My favourite shots of him were where he seemed about to launch himself into an attack, with head forward and leaning over his feet, plus the third in each where he seemed to be looking straight at me, and last one in (a) where his eye was glinting in the light!
