    Camera :- Nikon D3100 used with Nikkor 70-300 F/4-5.6 VR Lens. Compact Camera :- Samsung V5.0 Tripod : - Yep, Good One. Binoculars :- Nikon 'Sport Lite' 10x25.

    Default Pembrokeshire visit planned.

    Am all keyed up for a visit to Pembrokeshire this weekend. Am hope to visit Skomer and maybe Ramsay ilselands.

    Have been watching Skomer on Springwatch. really interesting place.

    Would LOVE to see Puffins 'live'!

    Just been checking out the time and cost, 3.5hrs drive £90 fuel, £18 to get to the island and back (includes landing fee), plus bed and breakfast for an evening, sounds like a doer.

    At that price, and with such a long drive there and back, would it not be an idea to spend 2 nights there?

    (Check if there is a Travelodge on the coast near it, as there are £10 a night rooms being offered at some from midnight tonight!)
