    Default What an insult

When I crawled out of bed this morning, I found a very cryptic message waiting for me. I figured out that a friend wanted me to scan some old pics so she could put them into a digital photo frame as a present for her father.

My wife asked how I had managed to figure it all out from her cryptic message,to which I replied "I am a good detective, call me Poirot from now on.

    Her reply

"You are far too scruffy to be Poirot.......Columbo would be more appropriate"

Dont have a raincoat anymore Rolf, however the right eye is about the same as Columbo's. (Have a close look at my avitar)

Love the Miss Marples thing Beryl.Perhaps I could use it Hee Hee. I thought it a way to get my own back. I have a silver grey wig that I got when I was learning portrait photography many years ago....many many years ago....many many many years ago. A pair of glasses was not a problem. I had myself all organised and then I realised Joyce already has silver grey hair and totes a pair of specs. Back to the drawing board I guess.

    Please note:-

The silver grey wig was used on a polystyrene dummy head when I was practicing studio lighting and not repeat NOT worn by me.

I looked up Hammer the Toff. It was a British film .
I didn't read Micky Spillane I preferred Rex Stout's Nero Wolf. Fat guy that sat in his office or tended to his orchids and let his sided-kick Archie Godwin do all the work
    And Raymond Chandler's Philip Marlow
