    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    there has been some very freakish weather just lately beryl. a few sundays ago, i was at work. it was sweltering one minute. the next moment we had a flash rainstorm. we have big automatic roof vents which open when it gets very hot. the rain caught this system out. the rain poured in, causing a fair bit of damage.
    just this week a poor teenager lost his life trapped in a flooded culvert.
    the thing is, this freakish weather looks set to become the norm.
