    Default Northern Pintail- Anas acuta

    Pintails have arrived in the Exe estuary
    These are large but the most elegant of the surface ducks.The male's call is a mellow whistle, whereas the female quacks like a Mallard.
    Acording to the RSPB the Pintail Duck is in the Amber status
