these lizards... not sure what type, were all over the place, along the coastal paths and street sidewalks. some were really vividly marked.

When we lived in Malta we had a resident Lizard. Only a little common one but the children liked it and named it Lizzy

It's something You just don't see much here. Lovely shots- I particularly like the first one - something about his stance reminds me of the 1950's male model poses
So, how big were they?

these lizards varied, any where between 4 to 6 inches i'd guess.
