A short video of Bees working away
He really was having a wash and brush up What a lovely piece of film. I only have vid on my camera and it doesn't do very close up and you can't alter focus when filming... so I'm jealous - I wanted to get the busy bees !
Excellent footage there .
Well done
Thank you.Bought the video camera about 2 years ago, they were selling them off for 130 quid, so decided to take the plunge. Since I joined the site and you all got me interested in Nature photography, everything gets pressed into use.
Well done.
I have a JVC . not too happy with it but am aiming for a Cannon.
Mine is a jvc.The price sort of made it an impulse buy.If I had been looking for a video camera it would have been between Canon and Panasonic
I'm aimingh to get a really small camcorder with a card ans well as tape. I can take stills on mine but haven't yet worked out how to make a still into a Jpeg
If your stills are on tape Chocky it can be done but the quality is so low its not really worth the effort.
I use a fire wire for my camcorder but I don't both with the stills because they still play so to speak and I haven't rally looked into making a Jpeg with a snapshot yet.
I figured the quality wouldn't be up to much.
Mine is a JVC GR-D240EK
This is a frame taken from a camcorder tape. Its a bit iffy dont you think
Not very. I don't mean a frame from a video It actually takes snap shot stills but even though they are still it says they are playing. But like you say they probably wouldn't be much good
This one is from the snapshot function on the video camera, its a bit elongated but its the way I have the camera set up for movies.I suppose its acceptable its 10 x 8 @ 72 dpi
It's nice you un-elongate it with CS 2or 3
How did you make it Jpeg Please
Open it in photoshop or which ever graphics prog you choose then "save as" give it a name and from the drop down list, select jpeg.hope that helps Chocky
Oh. I didn't think of that as when i click on them they come up in Media player and although they are stills they play but don't move .Lol
I'll have a go at that. will have to search them out or may be just take some next time I'm out.
Thanks for that
