Stonechats at Horseshoe Lake, Yateley

Stonechat - Saxicola torquatus

Spent a pleasant few hours with Chocky, strolling around Horseshoe Lake.

Chocky took me to where she had first seen the Stonechat, managed to get a few photos, but light conditions were not great.

The light was very dull but those came out really well.

nice one rolf, male and female. really are great little birds. its always a bonus to see them.

I agree, very pretty little birds, we noticed that had a distinct territory and seemed to patrol it regularly.
