    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    thats it , you always fire loads of frames in a hope that you get a good un.. in your case a few good uns

    I keep my camera on rapid as I mainly like action shots and now I have a new 300mm lens I can get a little closer. Somme times I can get a reasonable 600mm with a X2 telephoto lens

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.
