Is Lea Farm a section of Lavells or Sandford or is it somewhere else entirely?

It's behind Lavell's and under the control of Friends of Lavell's as far as I know Eddy.

How do you get to it from Lavells?

You enter by the Bridge end of Lavell's, then walk along the river path.

Thanks Rolf; I've joined on-line with FOLL, but I'm still waiting for my code and all the other stuff, presumably there'll be deatils in there.

Probably, although I joined a week ago and have heard nothing yet.

Really efficient at collecting money then but not so good at the backup!!

Don't think it's that Eddy, they are used to doing everything by post, only just recently got the paypal facility set up. I'm not in a hurry, as at the moment I rarely get over there, but a confirmation Email would be appreciated.

Another group woth joining is the Theale Area Bird conservation group, as they have access to a couple on non-public places. I have some membership forms I can Email if you want them.

Update on FOLL membership, got a welcome email this morning with various documents, my Email with an attached completed application must have gone to their spam folder, as there is no mention of it and they were obviously waiting for the form by post before proceeding . But up and running now.
