    I came across this easy and cheap way to have a form of tripod with you all the time, using string. Yep, that's what I thought until I took a look

    I will.. but I suspect it may involve tripping up or getting entangled and having to wait for a friendly pass-by to cut me out

    Looks interesting, would be quite easy to make the single string version and quite useful.
