Long-tailed Tit chicks and mum

Captured this little pair of Long-tailed Tit chicks.
Have also captured it on video. They are so cute.
I captured loads and loads before they moved on, these are the best .
The last last photo shows mama feeding one of them ,unfortunately he has turned round so it looks a bit odd

You beat me to this Beryl. Never seen recently fledged L T Tits for real in my life......excellent images particularly the first two which show the youngsters off to good effect.

I just spend a long time standing still and watching for movement. I was lucky here they thought it was a tall tree because it roots from down the side of the brook So it is about 7 feet before it appears above the book's bank if you can emagine what I mean

Stand about for as long as you can and anything can happen and often does Beryl. Its the same with doing a walk which takes the same return route as the outward one, its amazing what you can see/find on the way back which you didn't see on the way out......and you think to yourself......wonder where that was two hours ago when I came by here?

Yes. I must have been asleep on the way sort of thing .
I think birds have a sort of siesta. I have found there is a sort of lull beteen about 12.30 and 1 .30 depending on the season
