    Default Courting Pigeons.. getting to know each other well!

    Well, I was only trying to get one of those wonderful poses the male pigeons make when they are courting. They never seem to get anywhere with the girlies (although with the number of pigeons around they must get lucky sometime!), so I wasn't expecting this. ... and all in public, the brazen little beggars! Still, it didn't quite go all the way - phew!

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Obviously practising for the real thing seem to have got the hang of it as well
