Bathing Blackbird - Turdus merula
Next door's shed has a blocked gutter and the birds really like to use it as a bath. It's not too far from my bathroom window so as long as I lean out slowly I can do a 'peeping Tomasina' on these bathing beauties... and it's so easy to know when they are there as the splashing is really quite noisy
The last shot is added because I loved the weird splashing effect - I'm wondering if he had been eating beans for lunch
