    Default Comma Butterfly - Polygonia c-album

    This beauty had landed on the ground to take a taste of some fallen plums.

    It has a wingspan of around 45mms.

    I have included the second photo to show the colours more accurately as the first one was a little shaded and I had to lighten it a bit.

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.
