Thinking of buying a set of Macro lenses that fit on my regular lens . does any one have any experience of these. I would value an opinion Please
Yes I have a set Chocky, I haven't used them very much as yet, but have taken a couple of quite reasonable shots with them.
The nice thing is that they are quite cheap to buy and experiment with, so if you don't like them, you can put them back on ebay.
Oh right. Thank you.
I think I'm looking at £30 -£40 for my camera may be a little more. I think I'll look into that today as the sky is a murderous colour I won't be out photographising today
Mine were cheaper than that, have a look at this seller
Yes they are good prices . Have to get the right sise.
I scrubbed round it because the shop wanted £49. I thought 'Yeah right'
Thanks for that I'll book mark it.
I was thinking of getting a macro lens, for butterflies and dragonflies but to be honest, I have had second thoughts about getting one and the reason being I don't think I would use it much. I have always wanted one but now when the opportunity comes, I think what's the point. I only have the weekends and lately with the weather I don't think it would get much use. I'm lucky if I can use my bigma for a couple of hours at the weekends
I still have my Konica Z6 which will take a macro from 1 cm so I have scrubbed round the idea for now
If a butterfly sits still you don't need macro but yo do for tiny insects like grasshoppers providing they sit still
