    Camera :- Nikon D3100 used with Nikkor 70-300 F/4-5.6 VR Lens. Compact Camera :- Samsung V5.0 Tripod : - Yep, Good One. Binoculars :- Nikon 'Sport Lite' 10x25.

    Still a bit dry at Rainham, being kept that way whilst new Hide is being built so they say.
    Can anyone confirm my Sighting/Picture of a Female Widgeon?

    Yes, it is a female Wigeon, Vastra.

    Nice photo - and especially good as you managed to picture it out of the water.

    Like the Goldfinch too!

    Yep, nice Goldfinch - for some reason I don't have a lot of luck snapping Goldfinches. The Widgeon shot is really arty, would look nice on the wall.
