Don't often see them with open tails they are so tiny and fast
This is a first for me Beryl of the bird landing/taking off. An excellent image showing the Long-tailed Tit - which I didn't know until now - has eight (or is that nine) tail feathers.

He is landing I have the one before as he is taking off,his tail is only half open,
He flew across to a nearby twig luckily a short distance
Indeed the tail feathers are quite resplendent, I would also never have known if I had not seen that excellent capture
