    Default Snow Bunting

These fellows or rather ladies actually came down and walked around my feet! The slightest movement and they would take to the sky but would always come back to a spot right in front of me. This actually made photographing them the way I do difficult as I have to focus the telescope before shooting and this a) scares them and b) the scope’s focal range is compromised as it is to close and the don’t sit still!

The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.
