    Default Mute Swans - Cygnus olor

    These two mute swans took off from the marshland then decided to fly back again. The spend most of the time in a flooded field at Darts Farm near by. The field was more like an enormous lake last month and is still partly flooded

    I heard them coming, the whipping sound of the wings is a real give-away. one of themis ringed but you can only see the ring on him in the non flight bird thread

    Lol. Great shot. I think the swan in you photo could be dipping to avoid the cable
