Crumbs, that's a tatty one Chocky, do you think it's suffering from parasites?

I thought it was a fledgling but I supose it could be. Oh dear , poor little thing. What's it calle? I had a love bird that suffered from some thing , nearly all of his feathers fell out I treeted it and he gerw them back (took a while) turned in to a healthey little bird and went back in the avery. Can't remember the name of it.
This one might have Red mite though

Unfortunately the mild winter meant that many of the parasites which would normally die out, survived and still infest the nests.

That's awful. He was flying around ok so mybe he'll be ok

Well now you all mention it . Yes. I thought it was a youngster still sorting out his feathers but yes he does look rather thingy.

I've seen a few of them Chocky, Bluetits, GreatTits, Chaffinches and even a Blackbird.

Well yes now you have brought it to my attention I agree with you . Poor little thing. I do hope he and any others get better. I had a remady from the pet shop for my little love bird Jumpjet ( He loved me. He used to sit on my shoulder and try and feed me with this disgusting regurgitated food. Ugh). I expect they know what to eat for it. Nature usually finds a way
