I have now bought the SIGMA AF.MF ZOOM LENS
F4-5.6 DG MACRO Have tried it out and am pleased with it though the birds were all in the tops of the highest trees today hiding from me.

The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

Excellent Chocky, I don't think you can go wrong with Sigma, I love mine

    Yes, Thank you Babs
Oh I didn't know your's is a Sigma. I also bought a teleplus converter lens a bout a year ago and it didn't work well at all with my ordinary Nikor lens But I notice it's a DG and it works very well indeed with the Sigma which also is DG
