    Default Nesting Coots at Pingewood

    Was passing through Pingewood on the way to a job and noticed these Coots on their castles.

    Great spot - It's amazing how some birds have nests quite out in the open.

    Yep, clearly visible from the road, I simply pulled over and walked back along the verge.

    What was also interesting was that a huge fish launched itself out of the water nearby, the splash on landing was immense. Unfortunately it was a quick occurrence and I didn't get a photo.
