    Default Confused?

What's wrong with this picture - well, it may not be quite as obvious in a still photo, but this little one was begging at the blackbird. Not only that but as the Blackbird kept walking off the little one would run after any other bird that walked by like a pigeon:-) The Blackbird did once ( I suspect in the confusion of being badgered so much), hand over something he had just picked up. I did try to film it but as soon as I decided to do that he stopped begging properly. Typical

Not sure about the confusion Ladylouise. A nice pic of the young Blackbird begging from its parent.

If I'm missing something here I need to be told so.

    Pete.

Ahh, maybe it's me then. I am not a great expert, but I didn't think that this was a young blackbird (helped by the fact that it ran after any type of bird that walked past, and the adult seemed to be ignoring it pretty much). So I suppose that the confusion is with me - title still valid then

May be the adult wanted to make it more independent. Birds do this
    I think it's lovely

The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

Nice shot Louise, but as soon as I saw the youngster I thought juvenile Robin. The speckled markings at the front and the bird shape to me all point to the juvenile Robin. I'm probably wrong but I thought I'd give some input

Looked again at it and now I'm having doubts on the Robin theory
