Very nice - and also very arty looking! You are lucky to have been able to catch one having a nice sit down - some nice detail there.
Its knowing where these things live and where they sunbathe. He didn't hang around though Just long enough for three of us to get some shots.

We have sand Lizards down here at the bottom of the cliffs along the sea front. Very small. and very fast

I was just reading about Sand Lizards on UK safari, and they seem to be fairly rare in most places.

Agree, nice shots, lovely colours, certainly remember seeing them when I was a kid, along with common lizards and crested newts. Shame the kids these days won't easily get the same opportunities.
