    I have been watching the birds in the little wood in the corner of the local park and paying paticular atention to a little hollows in two seperate trees since the end of February. The last to day have found the wood ringing with the sound of hungry chics Today I had the privilage to see a chick peeping out out of the nest with his mother and I felt I had to share this with all of you. I was a good way from the nest so the mother and chic were not stressed

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.
