Going Bananas

I was visited by a male Blackcap briefly yesterday and managed to get a snap, they like bananas apparently, well they do up in Scotland anyway, so have made my own little banana tree.

Hope I get a better response than when a female arrived late last year, as she didn't reappear.

Do they eat the skin as well?

LOL, don't think so Jimbo, probably just the soft bit inside.

Update on the story, I have now seen the Blackcap a couple of times, but he doesn't appear to stay for long and the Squirrels have now part eaten and removed all of the banana pieces from the tree.

I have the little blue birds coming to my backyard, and other creatures as well. Ok, I will try to feed the birds. When I lived in South America, the person I lived with, fed the pegions every morning, with bread. I don't think it's healthy.
Rolf that picture with bananas on the tree is so funny.
