Small Skipper.

Have to confess I would soon run out of butterfly pictures but before I do here's one of a Small Skipper of which I hope to see many this summer. There is also a Large Skipper just in case anyone didn't know this.

Again, a rather heavily cropped image which I hope looks OK when I post it here. Apology's to Beryl for not adding the latin name......just too idle to look it up Beryl which makes me even more ashamed. Don't usually like smilies but this ones for you Beryl for my shortcomings

I have posted a large Skipper some where in the forum. There is also a large Tortoiseshell as well as a small tortoiseshell

Yes, I don't want to get too clever on butterfly technicalities Beryl, but I do know we don't 'get' the Large Tortoiseshell in't North......not that I know of!
