    With rain now forecast here, ours will probably go into mush...

    That's a lovely colour palette. Very often, public planting is a set of very mismatched and clashing colours, but this is nice.

    Yes. I just thought it looked pretty although it's not wild
    They take a lot of care here because of the holiday visitors. There are even Flowerbeds like this along the verges of the main road into Exmouth

    That's what I like to hear - verges are usually so dull. I would love to do a bit of 'guerilla gardening' around here to brighten the place up, but it's hard enough keeping up with my tiny garden.
    I truly feel that a nicer-looking environment makes people feel better.

    Yes. In the spring the main roads verge has Daffodils planted in inform to say 'WELCOME TO EXMOUTH'. it looks really nice

    There is a grass verge one side and a cycle /foot path the other as it's a very fast road no one walks on the side of the verge.
    They would be a fool to do so
