    Default Resting Robin

    I was standing around inthe little wood in the corner of our local park waiting for some thing , just some thing, anythibg when suddenly this littl Robin plopped down in front of me to bathe in the sun. I think he'd been for a bath in the brook.

    Well I was a little concerned and just took a few photos and as he had positioned him self very carefully I thought he was ok. \Any how after a while , well about a minute I got worreid and put my handout to him and ihe flew off quite ok , so I figured he was drying out. He spent most of his time flying back and forth accross the brook

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    The first time I saw a Robin like this I was shocked I really thought there was something wrong with it until someone told me it was sunbathing Well spotted Chocky, lovely image

    Yep you are right. I googled it and Robins do sunbathe In high tempretures and today was very warm
