    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Default Wheatear

    I hope I'm correct in my identification of this little bird. I have never actually seen one before but my RSPB book points to a Wheatear. I was unable to get very close to it without it flying further away

    Nice pic of the Wheatear Babs.

    Did you know if one of the first Wheatears to arrive on our shores as early as March was one of the last to leave as late as Nov, as you see it would then have spent up to nine months here.
