Jersey Tiger Moth: Euplagia quadripunctaria

This moth may be interesting in as much as it is very rarely seen in other parts of the UK other than the South West.
It is indigenous to The Chanel Isles,south West of UK and central europe to central Asia. It is a large Moth and flies during the day and likes sunny places. They fly during July and August.
One is open and you can see the red underwing
