    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    I strongly suspect there could be as many as six pairs in this area Babs with a similar number here last year. The good news is that this is a species causing some concern over a dramatic drop in numbers in recent years so always encouraging to see them around.

    Yes. It is larger than the Pied Flycatcher but is in the red status unfortunately
