Welcome to the site. we are a friendly bunch here.
looking forward to you input
Yes, welcome Andy, good to see another digiscoper on the forum and look forward to your captures.
hi chocky and rolf, thankyou for the welcome.
well, i would'nt profess to be an expert birder, but getting out in the fresh air , watching wildlife and never knowing whats going to turn up, is a great way to get away from it all.
i look forward to reading and possibly commenting on other members experiences. regards, andy b.
Your welcome hope you enjoy it here
Hi there andy b and welcome
Nice to have you on board. Nice site to be a member of
Hiya - a belated "hello and welcome" from me too.
this is the ugly mug that fits the name.
me at niagra falls in 2005.
Well done.
Always wanted to see the falls, got close when visiting St Louis (well 400 miles), but didn't make the final stage of the trip.
Ooh, I've always fancied seeing it - nature in the raw! But I draw a line at going over it in a barrel - WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO!!!!!!!
yes, definetly nature in the raw...such power!!
As you will see I have just joined the group and come across your membership. I thought I'd better say hello to someone as close to me as you are, being 21 miles down the M6 from Lancaster to Preston. Obviously have not yet had the time to look through the site for anyone else up here in the North but will do in due course. Perhaps I will 'bump into you' some time, it looks like that would be at Leighton Moss as you have mentioned you visit there. I'm not a regular there but am attracted to the place during the migration period, like anywhere else it can turn up the rarity now and again and iv'e found two Lesser Yellowlegs there over the years.
Hope to talk again Andy. Meanwhile, Best Wishes.
Pete Woodruff.
hi pete, thanks for the hello, we are almost neighbours!!. welcome to this site, everyone is so friendly here. i found it quite by accident and now i am a regular member.
who knows we could already have been in the same hide at one time or another. i tend to go to leighton moss about 4 times a year, other than that i tend to 'bird' local to the preston area. i do like to visit marton mere at blackpool, i think that can be a terrific little spot.
anyway we may meet someday, i'll be easily recognisable, i,ll be the one wearing the carnation!!
you have the slight advantage as there is a photo of me above!!
once again welcome, hope you enjoy the site, regards andy bradley
