    Default Herring Gull - Larus argentatus (Juvenile)

    He's JUST landing with his lunch, then tackling what looks to be a hard roll (but then they DO have BIG mouths ), then flying off because one of the other birds thought that he should get a look-in. The 4th shot is a different bird.

    It's on one of the Embankment Bridge (London) supports. I was standing for ages watching a couple of adults hoping that one would fly off so I could get a nice close-up flight shot. Neither went whilst I watched but I just caught this one coming in. The shots in the air are O/O/F since I wasn't expecting him, but just got this landing one in focus.
