    Whoo - hoo.. got a reasonable shot (well, as reasonable as I am going to get without a larger lens, or one landing right in front of me) I think it helped that the snow was reflecting so much light upwards.

    Thanks Catherine, I am pleased myself - I've been snapping at them as they fly overhead for ages, and almost fallen over backwards a number of times in the process
